We should not forget that one's real success is achieved when someone else tells stories of his success. It's quite similar in Modi's era in India when not only India but many other countries praised him for his success, his achievements and his diligence.
In this blog I am going to open your eyes about how other countries have appreciated the success of Modi after throwing light on some glimpses on his journey to become the Prime Minister of India from an ordinary citizen of India.
Shri Narendra Modi's journey from an ordinary citizen to becoming the Prime Minister of India is marked by hard work, determination, and a political career that evolved over several decades. Here is an overview of his journey:
Early Life and Entry into Politics (1950-2001):
Narendra Damodardas Modi was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat. He joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a right-wing Hindu nationalist organization, during his teenage years. His association with the RSS paved the way for his entry into the political arena. Modi initially worked for the organization and later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Rise in Gujarat Politics (2001-2014):
In 2001, following the earthquake in Gujarat, Modi was appointed as the Chief Minister of the state. His tenure as the Chief Minister saw significant economic development in Gujarat, but it was also marked by controversies, including the handling of the 2002 Gujarat riots. Despite the controversies, Modi gained popularity for his pro-business and development-oriented policies.
National Recognition and 2014 General Elections:
Modi's reputation as a decisive leader and economic reformer gained him national recognition. In the 2014 Indian general elections, he was the BJP's prime ministerial candidate. The party won a landslide victory, securing a majority in the Lok Sabha (lower house of parliament). Narendra Modi was sworn in as the 14th Prime Minister of India on May 26, 2014.
First Term as Prime Minister (2014-2019):
During his first term, Modi implemented various economic and social reforms, including the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and demonetization. His government focused on infrastructure development, cleanliness campaigns, and financial inclusion. Modi's leadership style, political strategies, and communication skills played a crucial role in shaping his political image.
Re-election in 2019:
In the 2019 general elections, Narendra Modi led the BJP to another decisive victory. The party secured a majority, and Modi was sworn in for a second term as the Prime Minister on May 30, 2019. The second term has been marked by continued emphasis on economic reforms, welfare programs, and foreign policy initiatives.
Handling of Major Events:
Modi's tenure has seen the handling of significant events, including the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, and the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). These decisions have generated both support and criticism.
Narendra Modi's journey from an ordinary RSS worker to the Prime Minister of India reflects his political acumen, leadership skills, and the support he garnered from the public.
Such diligence was hailed by EIL( Engineers India Limited) chief Vartika Shukla speaking to ANI on 19 january, "The incredible India has become credible India in terms of policies that the government of india has in place under the leadership of honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi" and China's Global Times article also praised India's strides under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
